This is a very simple chutney that comes handy when we run out of time. This remains fresh for three days when refrigerated since it does not have coconut in it. It is a simple side dish for Appam / Idli / Dosa / Paniyaram. Now, to the recipe.

Ingredients:
To grind:
Tomato: 2
Onions: 2
Garlic: 2 cloves
Red Chilli: 2
Jaggery: ½ tbsp (optional)
Salt: as required
For Seasoning:
Mustard: ¼ tsp
Oil: 2 tsp
Method:
Grind all the ingredients mentioned above to a smooth paste without adding water in a mixie. In a pan add oil and mustard seeds. Once it sputters add the ground paste and fry till the raw flavour goes.
